2008 Summer Music Theatre Camp Overview

To register for camp, come by The Grand Theatre Ticket Office located at 7 North Wall Street in downtown Cartersville

from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday  - Friday. 

You can also register by phone with a credit card by calling 770-607-3686.

Text Box: Middle School Music Theatre Camp—“Westward, Whoa!” Director:           Barbie Sheppard and Warren Kennedy Grades:            Completed Grades 5 - 7 Dates:              June 2 – 14, 2008                            Hours:              Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.  Bring a lunch. Performances: Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 at 7 p.m. Curriculum:      Campers refine their on-stage skills while working on a musical play.  This camp includes more time for developing characters and a plot as well as music and choreography.                Co            st:                $275. Non-refundable payment of $150 is due registration.                                      Balance is due by May 1, 2008.

Text Box: Senior Music Theatre Camp—“Once Upon A Mattress” Presented by Children's Dental Center Directors:         Erin Gunter, Nathan Autry, and Brian McLeod Grades:            Completed Grades 7 - 12 Auditions:        Saturday, July 12th - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dates:              July 14 – August 3, 2008 H                                  Hours:              Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.                                                             Bring a lunch or eat downtown. Performances: Friday, August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd at 7 p.m., Sunday, August 3rd at 2:30 p.m. Curriculum:     Students will experience all aspects of performing a Broadway                         production: Acting, singing, dancing, technical work                         costuming, makeup, and commitment to others. Cost:                $325. Non-refundable deposit of $150 is due at                         registration.                          Balance due May 1, 2008.        

Tickets to all summer camp shows are $5.00 per person.
